The BAPTISM TEAM has a double sided purpose.  It is both task oriented and spiritual.  The task side is one of service to the clergy and community.  The TEAM is one of welcome and hospitality to the couples who are bringing their children to the church for baptism.  We meet the 2nd Monday of each month from 7:30pm to 9:30pm to welcome the couples to the Baptism Preparation Class where the clergy will give the presentation.  The TEAM also provides assistance to the clergy on the day of the child's baptism by preparing the church for the sacrament and seating the families as they arrive.  Baptisms are every Sunday at 2:00pm and TEAM members choose which Sunday each month they are available to serve.

The spiritual side is one of community and faith.  We meet as a TEAM for prayer and fellowship at least twice a year - Advent and Lent.  A summer gathering for Mass and pot luck dinner provides an opportunity for the TEAM and their families to come together and get to know one another.
